VisaDocAssist is designed to process supported files in your browser.
Files are processed locally by the web application for supported tools.
VisaDocAssist does not intentionally upload user files to a VisaDocAssist server for processing.
Files are not intended to be permanently stored by VisaDocAssist.
Visual File Processing Flow
How files move through the VisaDocAssist checking and auto-fixing pipeline:
You select a photo, CV, or document from your local storage.
HTML5 Canvas, FileReader & client-side JavaScript examine dimensions, bytes, and formats locally in browser memory.
Automated technical rules evaluate the file or construct the document layout. If needed, in-browser cropping or compression is applied locally.
The processed file or formatted CV is saved directly to your device for submission to official government portals.
1. In-Browser Processing & No Permanent Document Storage
VisaDocAssist does not maintain a user document database, image repository, or cloud storage bucket for uploaded visa files. When you interact with our photo checkers, PDF compressors, document verification tools, or International CV Builder, files and form inputs are read into temporary browser memory via the HTML5 FileReader and Canvas APIs.
Once your checking session finishes, or when you navigate away from or close the browser tab, the temporary memory buffer is discarded by your web browser. Files and personal identity documents are not intended to be permanently stored by VisaDocAssist.
2. Normal Browser Network Requests & External Assets
While file analysis occurs client-side, using any modern web application involves standard browser network communication:
- Page Assets & Code: Your browser fetches HTML, CSS, JavaScript application bundles, and fonts necessary to execute the web application locally on your device.
- Security & Hosting Headers: Web servers (such as Hostinger Apache/LiteSpeed) process standard HTTP/HTTPS request headers (including IP address, User-Agent, and requested route) to transmit website pages securely and prevent malicious denial-of-service traffic.
- External Government Portals: If you click an external link to an official embassy or government portal (e.g., travel.state.gov or canada.ca), your browser makes a direct request to that government server under their respective privacy policies.
We make accurate technical disclosures and do not claim that “your files can never leave your device,” but we affirm that VisaDocAssist does not intentionally upload user files to a VisaDocAssist server for processing.
3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures
VisaDocAssist displays advertising from third-party advertising vendors, including Google AdSense, to keep our checking and formatting tools 100% free for applicants worldwide.
Mandatory Google AdSense Disclosures:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to VisaDocAssist.com or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by visiting AboutAds.info .
You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance at www.youronlinechoices.eu.

4. Cookie Policy & Tracking Technologies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by websites that you visit. VisaDocAssist utilizes cookies and local browser storage mechanisms for the following specific purposes:
Required for user interface state (such as wizard step progression and responsive UI toggles).
Set by Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated, anonymous traffic metrics and Core Web Vitals.
Set by Google AdSense and authorized partners to display relevant advertisements and measure ad performance.
You can manage, restrict, or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect some non-essential features of the website.
5. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) & Anonymous Telemetry
VisaDocAssist utilizes Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-BQZPSC76DV) to evaluate website performance, understand aggregate page usage, monitor Core Web Vitals, and identify technical bottlenecks.
Strict Telemetry Boundaries:
- Uploaded file contents and raw images are NEVER sent to Google Analytics.
- Passport photographs, facial biometrics, and identity scans are NEVER sent to Google Analytics.
- Document text, financial data, employment records, or personal names are NEVER sent to Google Analytics.
- Signatures or original filenames containing personal identifying information (PII) are NEVER sent to Google Analytics.
Only anonymous workflow metrics—such as which country was selected, which tool was opened, anonymous pass/fail status counters, and device screen dimensions—are collected to maintain platform reliability.
6. Zero Accounts, Logins, or Passwords
VisaDocAssist operates entirely without user registration. We do not require your email address, full name, phone number, physical address, passport number, or credit card details to check documents. You can access all checking tools immediately and anonymously.
7. International Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on your location, you may possess specific rights under data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA):
- Right of Access & Portability: Because we do not create accounts or retain your files, there is no personal user dossier stored on our servers.
- Right to Erasure / Deletion: You can purge all local tool history, cached files, and inputs at any time simply by clearing your browser cache and cookies.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: VisaDocAssist does not sell personal user information. You can opt out of personalized third-party advertising via the opt-out links provided in Section 3.
8. Privacy Inquiries & Policy Updates
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical enhancements or regulatory adjustments. Revisions will be published immediately on this page with an updated effective date.
